Driving around the northeast it's hard not to notice the abandoned structures left behind to crumble and fade away. Behind each of these structures is a story. Some of those stories are steeped in legend and some of are devastatingly factual. This blog is an attempt to document some of those abandoned structures around the area that I live, Bennington County, Vermont. For some of the photos I may have crept across nearby state lines.
